Job summary

Qualifications

  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in a residential childcare setting within the last 5 years.
  • At least 1 year in a supervisory or management role.
  • Sound knowledge of Children’s Homes Regulations and Quality Standards.
  • Ability to register with Ofsted as a Registered Manager.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the registration process with Ofsted and ensure compliance.
  • Provide day-to-day leadership and management of the homes.
  • Develop and maintain individualised care plans.
  • Oversee safeguarding procedures and staff training.
  • Recruit and manage a high-performing team.
  • Build relationships with stakeholders.
  • Monitor, evaluate, and improve quality of care.
