Tennial Personnel are currently seeking a reliable and experienced Forklift Operator to join our client's warehouse team in Colchester on a temporary to permanent basis. After a successful 12-week period, there is an opportunity for a permanent contract. This role is working Monday to Thursday, 6pm to 6am and involves operating a forklift during night shifts and assisting with general warehouse operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate a Counterbalance forklift to safely and efficiently move stock and materials throughout the warehouse.
• Load and unload lorries, pallets and containers as required.
• Support general warehouse tasks such as picking, packing, stacking and organising inventory.
• Maintain a clear and organised workspace in line with company standards.
• Adhere strictly to health and safety protocols during all operations.
• Accurately complete documentation and report any discrepancies to supervisors.

Skills Required

• Previous warehouse experience is preferred, particularly in a night shift environment.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

Qualifications Required

• Valid Counterbalance Forklift License is essential.
• Full UK driving license is beneficial but not required.
