Responsibilities
- Working with all levels of the Staff Team to safeguard our young people at all time.
- Assisting the Registered Manager to utilise staff to ensure that shifts run smoothly and with appropriate numbers.
- Oversee medication administration in line with Individual Pupil Care Plan (IPCP).
- Maintaining clear and accurate records including leading on care planning and producing reports as required.
- Chairing regular staff meetings and handover meetings and ensuring that all relevant information is disseminated appropriately and in a timely manner.
- Working with the Training Department to promote the importance of training and support individuals to complete relevant qualifications through regular supervisions.
- Creating positive relationships with the young people and offering them unconditional dignity and respect.
- Meeting the physical, emotional, behavioural and cultural needs of the young people.
- Ensuring that the needs of the young person are being met and reviewing and recording changes to those needs.
Qualifications
- A Diploma Level 3 in Health and Social Care or qualified by experience
- Leadership experience, preferably within Children\'s Services
- A genuine passion for care and to be motivated by contributing to the progression of others
- A strong team player
- Resilience to keep going at difficult times and to ask for support if needed
