Overview

Responsibilities
  • Working with all levels of the Staff Team to safeguard our young people at all time.
  • Assisting the Registered Manager to utilise staff to ensure that shifts run smoothly and with appropriate numbers.
  • Oversee medication administration in line with Individual Pupil Care Plan (IPCP).
  • Maintaining clear and accurate records including leading on care planning and producing reports as required.
  • Chairing regular staff meetings and handover meetings and ensuring that all relevant information is disseminated appropriately and in a timely manner.
  • Working with the Training Department to promote the importance of training and support individuals to complete relevant qualifications through regular supervisions.
  • Creating positive relationships with the young people and offering them unconditional dignity and respect.
  • Meeting the physical, emotional, behavioural and cultural needs of the young people.
  • Ensuring that the needs of the young person are being met and reviewing and recording changes to those needs.
Qualifications
  • A Diploma Level 3 in Health and Social Care or qualified by experience
  • Leadership experience, preferably within Children\'s Services
  • A genuine passion for care and to be motivated by contributing to the progression of others
  • A strong team player
  • Resilience to keep going at difficult times and to ask for support if needed
