About The Role
This is a full-time night shift role working from 8pm to 8am for 38.5 hours per week. Full flexibility is required. Location: Woodthorpe Lodge, Loughborough LE11 2ER.
In your role as a Night Manager at HC-One you’ll value one thing above all: kindness. It carries across every aspect of our Dementia, Nursing, Residential and Specialist care homes. Responsibilities
- Take responsibility for a specific part of the home and deliver the very best level of care.
- Run the entire place when the Home Manager and Deputy Home Manager are absent.
- Maintain resident dignity and wellbeing, whether reporting concerns about mobility, gathering samples for monitoring, or administering medicines, with a focus on person-centered care.
- Demonstrate leadership, communicate with residents and co-workers with kindness and consideration, and take real accountability.
- Safeguarding is everyone’s responsibility; recognise signs of possible abuse, harm, or neglect and know what to do if concerns arise. Attend safeguarding training and undertake additional role-related training.
Qualifications
- Proven leadership skills in a care home for vulnerable adults.
- Positive energy, strong interpersonal skills, and the ability to work well with residents and colleagues.
- Ability to seek appropriate advice and report concerns, including escalation if action is not taken.
- Willingness to undertake safeguarding training appropriate to the role and to engage in ongoing professional development.
