A leading NHS Trust in the United Kingdom is looking to appoint a Bereavement and Palliative Care Clinical Nurse Specialist to cover maternity leave for a year. The role involves supporting families with complex end-of-life care needs and providing expert knowledge on palliative care and bereavement. Responsibilities include serving as a point of contact for care teams, facilitating family support, providing staff training, and ensuring high standards of care delivery.
We are looking to appoint a Secondment to our Bereavement and Palliative Care CNS to cover maternity leave for a year. As the Bereavement and Palliative Care lead, the post holder will be responsible to support families with complex end of life care needs, to offer up to date expert knowledge on palliative care pathways and bereavement care demonstrating advanced communication with good decision making skills and nursing skills.
