An excellent opportunity to work on a hybrid basis, with days from home, and in the Darlington office.

Key Responsibilities

Outbound calling to identify and win new business across your region using cold calling and proactive sales techniques.

Work to clear financial targets and KPIs, consistently striving to exceed monthly revenue goals.

Manage and grow existing client accounts, providing ongoing support and spotting upsell opportunities.

Develop and maintain a robust sales pipeline, moving prospects through the sales cycle with a consultative approach.

Build long-term client relationships through expert advice and exceptional service.

Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth onboarding and campaign delivery.

Stay informed on industry trends, competitor activity, and LOCALiQ’s evolving product suite.

Represent LOCALiQ with professionalism and credibility as a trusted ambassador for our regional news brands.

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise

Strong communication and influencing skills – confident speaking with business owners and decision-makers.

Outbound calling experience – comfortable picking up the phone, starting conversations, and creating opportunities.

Proven ability to secure new business over the phone – skilled at asking the right questions, handling objections, and closing deals.

Ability to grow and nurture existing accounts, spotting upsell opportunities.

Exceptional customer service – committed to delivering a seamless experience every time.

A consultative, client-focused approach – listening, learning, and tailoring solutions to client goals.

Proven B2B sales experience (advantageous) – or a strong work ethic and willingness to learn.

Understanding of multimedia advertising (advantageous) – digital and print knowledge is a plus, but full training provided.

Able to commute daily – based within reach of the office and happy to work collaboratively on-site.
