Role: Multiskilled Shift Engineer

Location: Deeside, Fintshire

Shift: 4 on 4 off (12-hour days)

Salary: £50,000 per annum

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out planned, predictive, and reactive maintenance on plant and machinery
• Troubleshoot and repair electrical and mechanical systems
• Install, commission and maintain plant and facilities
• Support production with line adjustments and breakdowns
• Identify and implement improvements to reduce downtime
• Train colleagues and work safely across the site

Qualifications

• Engineering qualification (HNC/NVQ Level 3) in electrical, mechanical, or multiskilled discipline
• Hands‑on experience in automated manufacturing, ideally FMCG or food production
• Knowledge of packaging and palletisation systems, AC/servo drives
• Strong problem‑solving skills and ability to work independently
• Safety‑focused team player
