Job summary

A leading construction consultancy in the UK is seeking 5 experienced Modular Joiners for a large contract refurbishing Modular Units. The ideal candidates will have at least 2 years of joinery experience, preferably with NVQ qualifications. The role offers £19 to £20.00 per hour depending on experience, for a duration of 3 to 6 months, with essential own tools and PPE required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of 1st and 2nd fix joinery experience.
• Punctual, reliable, and hard worker.
• Ability to work alone and unsupervised.

Responsibilities

• Partitioning and erecting stud timber walls.
• Reading joinery construction drawings.
• Performing 1st and 2nd Fix joinery duties.

The Opportunity

We require 5 experienced Modular Joiners to join our client on a large contract, refubishing 5 bay Modular Units.

Responsibilities

• Partitioning
• Using various joinery tools
• Reading joinery construction drawings
• Erecting stud timber walls
• Marking up timber walls
• Stripping and replacing floors
• 1st and 2nd Fix joinery duties
• Plaster Boarding
• Window and Door fitting

Qualifications and Experience

• Minimum 2 years 1st and 2nd fix joinery experience
• Ideally NVQ level 2 or 3 in Joinery and Carpentry
• Strong Attention to Detail
• The ability to work under pressure
• Can work as part of a team
• Can work if needed alone and unsupervised
• Ideally Modular Construction Experience
• Punctual, Reliable and a Hard Worker
• OWN TOOLS AND PPE ESSENTIAL
