Job description

Location: CA3 0ET, Carlisle, Cumbria, North West, UK

Position: Mobile Vehicle Technician - Carlisle

Salary: £38,625 basic + Overtime at £27.85ph + Bonus up to £6,000 + Company Van + Fuel Card + Tools Provided. OTE 50k+ (Guaranteed Overtime option at £44,385 basic + Bonus + Overtime). Hours: Monday – Friday, 40 hours per week, 8am – 4:30pm, Saturdays on rota.

Role

Working closely with the breakdown team, you will attend breakdowns to diagnose issues. Work on the vehicles to get them back on the road or, if necessary, ensure the vehicle returns to the workshop. Identify problems and advise the customer on vehicle issues. Perform vehicle servicing & general maintenance, including electrical & diagnostics. As a Mobile Vehicle Technician, you are the face of the business and must deliver exceptional customer service.

Qualifications

• Minimum NVQ, IMI or City and Guilds level 2 in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair (HGV/PSV maintenance & repair level 2 & Mechanical Engineering level 2 also accepted)
• Full UK driving licence
