A leading engineering company in Scunthorpe is seeking a qualified Fitter or Mechanic to service and maintain machinery on client sites across Yorkshire and Lincolnshire. This role offers extensive training to specialize in heavy plant, along with the chance to earn additional income through overtime. Candidates should have a strong mechanical background and a full UK Licence.

The Opportunity

An excellent opportunity for a Fitter or Mechanic looking to join a leading company who can offer extensive training and the chance to maximise your earnings with plenty of overtime.

About the Role

This leading business provide engineering and maintenance services to clients around the world. They are currently going through a period of sustained growth in the UK and are now looking for a Fitter to join their expert team.

In this role you will be tasked with servicing, maintaining and inspecting a range of machinery on client sites around Yorkshire and Lincolnshire. You will also be provided with extensive training in order for you to become a qualified plant fitter, whilst having the opportunity to boost your earnings with plenty of overtime. This role is Monday to Friday, with occasional Saturday mornings.

This role would therefore suit a qualified Mechanic or Fitter who is looking for the training to become a specialist on heavy plant.
