Overview

Quantum Scholars are excited to be working with a highly regarded secondary school in Buckinghamshire that is seeking a motivated and experienced MFL Teacher (French and Spanish) to join their team immediately.

Responsibilities

• Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons in French and Spanish, tailored to meet curriculum objectives and student needs.
• Deliver high-quality Modern Foreign Languages lessons to students across Key Stages 3 and 4, inspiring a love for French and Spanish while supporting their academic progress.
• Monitor and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback to support their learning journey.
• Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages participation and enthusiasm for languages.
• Collaborate with department colleagues and contribute to extracurricular activities such as language clubs or trips.
• Maintain accurate records of attendance, behavior, and academic performance.
• Adhere to school policies, including safeguarding and health and safety procedures.

Requirements

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
• Expertise in teaching French and Spanish at secondary level.
• Enhanced DBS check (must be valid and up to date).
• Strong lesson planning and classroom management skills.
• Ability to engage and motivate students of varying abilities.
• Available to start as soon as possible.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Must have a Right to Work in the UK.
