Job summary

A prominent automotive recruitment agency is seeking an experienced MET Technician in Ross-on-Wye. Responsibilities include diagnosing and repairing vehicles to high standards, communicating effectively, and performing quality controls. Applicants should hold an NVQ Level 3 or equivalent, with previous experience as a MET Technician preferred. A competitive salary of up to £33,280 with OTE circa £39,280 is offered, along with flexible working hours.

Overview

Our Motor Trade Client is a large Accident Repair Centre, based in Ross-on-Wye, and they require an experienced MET Technician / Strip Fit Technician to join their busy team of bodyshop productives.

Benefits

• Starting salary around £16 per hour (negotiable pending experience).
• Time-saving save bonus scheme available up to £6,000+ perannum.
• Overtime subject to availability paid at standard rate.
• 20 days annual holiday plus the bank holidays.
• Full in-house training provided.
• 40-hour week Monday to Friday with flexible working hours available.
• Occasional overtime may be required subject to business demand so you will need to be flexible with this however it would be paid as overtime.

Typical duties

• Diagnosing, repairing and maintaining vehicles in line with our Client's high standards
• Familiarity with the skills, knowledge and techniques required to be successful in the role.
• To identify additional repair work and liaise with the bodyshop advisor
• Communicating effectively with other team members
• Carry out quality controls

Requirements

• Fully qualified to NVQ Level 3 or equivalent
• ATA qualification would be beneficial
• Experience as a MET Technician within an accident repair centre

For your hard work as a MET Technician/ Strip Fit Technician for our client; you will be paid up to £33,280 with OTE circa of £39,280.
