Job summary

A healthcare organization in Greater Manchester is seeking two highly motivated Pharmacy Technicians for roles focusing on improving Medicines Optimisation in GP practices and care homes. Candidates will promote safe prescribing and provide technical assistance to healthcare professionals. This hybrid position requires travel within the Trafford locality to ensure high-quality medication management. The ideal candidates will be registered with the GPhC and have experience as Pharmacy Technicians, with a commitment to improving patient outcomes.

Qualifications

  • Pharmacy Technician registration with GPhC required.
  • Level 3 NVQ in Pharmacy Services Skills or BTEC pharmaceutical sciences essential.
  • Post qualification experience as a hospital, primary care, or community Pharmacy Technician.

Responsibilities

  • Support delivery of the Medicines Optimisation work plan in GP practices.
  • Implement and deliver on Medicines Optimisation and Primary care quality objectives.
  • Train GP practice and pharmacy staff on medicines management.
