Qualifications and Knowledge
  • Keyboard skills to RSA III or equivalent
  • Audio Typing or equivalent
  • Computer literate with good understanding of software programmes
  • Basic knowledge of medical terminology
  • Knowledge of secretarial and administrative procedures and systems
  • Knowledge of using CWS
  • WelshPAS trained
Experience
  • Experience of working in an administration or secretarial post
  • Management of Waiting Lists
Aptitude and Abilities
  • Possess excellent communication/telephone skills
  • Ability to work with staff at all level

  • Ability to be independently mobile to meet the requirements of the service
  • Ability to work on his/her own initiative in an often pressured and fast moving environment
