Overview

Due to the expansion of our reception and administration team, we are looking for a receptionist/administrator to join our well-established practice in Camberley.

The role will require you to contribute to the smooth running of a busy patient-facing and back-office operation where you will be provided with an interesting, varied of work. The role is primarily reception based but with some administration duties involved. The individual will be responsible for undertaking a wide range of reception and administration duties and the provision of general support to the multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities
  • Processing new patient registrations
  • Greeting and directing patients
  • Effective use of the appointment system
  • Booking appointments
  • Processing information and assisting patients as required
  • Acting as the central point of contact for patients, distributing information, messages and enquiries for the clinical team
  • Liaising with multidisciplinary team members and external agencies such as secondary care and community service providers
Qualifications / Experience
  • Previous experience working as part of a team, with members of the public, and the ability to work at pace under pressure
  • Full training will be provided
About Camberley Health Centre

Camberley Health Centre offers general medical services to the population of Camberley, Surrey and the surrounding area.

We are a friendly practice, serving a diverse community of approximately 9k patient list, with a multi-disciplinary team comprising GPs, Nurses, Advanced Nurse Practitioners, Healthcare Assistants, Pharmacists and Pharmacy Technicians.

Hours and Schedule

Wednesday 8:00am to 13:00pm
Thursday 8:00am to 13:00pm
Friday 8:00 to 13:00pm
There will also be a requirement of Saturday working and a late evening 18:30pm to 20:00pm on a rota basis. This will be paid at an enhanced rate. We are open 1 in 7 Saturdays.
