About the Role

We are recruiting on behalf of a well-established MEP contractor for an experienced Mechanical Project Manager to be based out of their Leigh office. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a growing business delivering mechanical services across commercial and industrial projects throughout the region.

This is an office-based role with one day per week on site, offering a great balance between project oversight and operational leadership.

Responsibilities
  • Manage mechanical packages across multiple commercial and industrial projects
  • Coordinate with site teams, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure smooth delivery
  • Monitor project progress, budgets, and resource allocation
  • Ensure compliance with health & safety and quality standards
  • Liaise with clients, consultants, and internal departments
  • Provide technical support and resolve issues as they arise
  • Report regularly to senior management on project performance
Candidate Requirements
  • Proven experience in mechanical project management within the MEP/building services sector
  • Strong technical knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, and mechanical systems
  • Excellent organisational and leadership skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities
  • Strong communication and client-facing skills
  • Proficient in project management tools and Microsoft Office
