Overview

Mechanical Maintenance Engineer

Continental Shift - 2 days/ 2 nights, 4 on off

Location: Bilston

Salary: £50,000 - £52,000 + Pension + Benefits

Responsibilities
  • Lead a team of engineers and work on PPM schedules.
  • Operate on a continental shift pattern (2 days/2 nights, 4 on off).
  • Work on electrical-biased maintenance involving mechanical and electrical kit across production machinery (extrusion, drawing equipment, hydraulics, pneumatics, motors, gearboxes, bearings).
  • Utilise PLCs & automated machinery; support multi-skilling within the engineering team.
  • Work within welding and fabrication activities as required.
  • Participate in ongoing training and development with the aim of progressing into larger roles within the group.
Qualifications
  • Time-served mechanical apprenticeship; apprentice-trained mechanical engineer preferred.
