Position overview

To meet production targets, by managing the production equipment, adhering to H&S requirements, meeting PM compliance, improving and securing line efficiency, fault finding and responsible for monthly and weekly maintenance tasks.

This role involves shift work, 12-hour shifts, involving days, nights and weekend working.

Key responsibilities
  • Health and safety checks, work in a safe manner following the company guidelines
  • Completion of daily and monthly PMs
  • React to break downs
  • Problem solving and identifying faults
  • Work within a team, building and sharing knowledge, lead and help the mechanics when needed
  • Prioritise work to maximise output
  • Communicate with your Team Leader, and communicate good and effective hand overs
  • Ensure all Quality checks and start up sheets are complete
What are we looking for?
  • Engineering qualification
  • Salary – starting at £53,265.16
  • Flexibility and team player
  • Time served in a similar environment (production, manufacturing, FMCG)
  • Able to understand and interpret data
  • Engineering line work experience
  • Fabrication and welding skills
  • Good English and Maths
  • Lean manufacturing experience would be desirable
