Overview

Process Operator – Location: Basingstoke RG24. Shifts: Monday to Friday, rotating between 06:00-14:00 and 14:00-22:00. Contract Type: Full-Time. Hourly Rate: 15.48.

We are recruiting on behalf of a leading global organisation seeking a Manufacturing Operator to join their high-performing manufacturing team. Working within the Microbiology Division, this role supports the production of Dehydrated Culture Media - critical products used in disease diagnostics and ensuring safety in food and environmental testing.

Responsibilities
  • Always maintain safe and ethical working practices.
  • Follow defined processes for batch manufacturing, labelling, and stock updates.
  • Participate in daily team meetings and contribute insights.
  • Track and report daily goals, engage in performance reviews, and act on feedback.
  • Understand and apply team and departmental performance and safety metrics.
  • Maintain training records within the company's quality management system.
  • Perform additional duties as required within the scope of the role.
Education
  • Secondary School Diploma or equivalent
Experience
  • Minimum 1 year in manufacturing, production, lab, or related field. Prior cGMP experience desirable
Skills
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow written instructions precisely.
  • Proficiency in literacy, numeracy, and basic computer applications (including email).
