Job Summary
The Manager of Global Education is responsible for executing the learning strategy across regional Professional and Commercial Education (Prof Ed and Comm Ed) teams to build proficiency related to the sale and clinical utilization of JJMT Electrophysiology hardware and software. This role collaborates across global and regional teams to develop globally relevant education in support of New Product Introductions (NPI) and New Employee Training, ensuring alignment with the global education strategy. The role partners with EdTech, global marketing, and regional commercial leaders to identify knowledge gaps, promote best practices, leverage approved technologies, and ensure training consistency across priority regions.
Functional Responsibilities
- Partner with GSM product leads and commercial business leaders to translate marketing strategy to global education experiences in support of NPI and New Employee Training.
- Collaborate with Global Strategic Marketing and regional Commercial Marketing teams to build and deliver launch training strategies and curriculum, as part of the Launch Excellence process.
- Partner with EdTech functional leads and commercial business leaders to facilitate best practice sharing.
- Leverages EdTech and Electrophysiology curriculum design protocols to maintain consistency of education experience globally to drive successful business results.
- Partners with regional education teams to catalog needs and best practices and shares with EdTech strategy and design leads.
- Collaborates with regional LMS administration on content mapping and content management.
- Ensures global compliance to the global learning digital strategy, communication strategy and digital asset library.
- Responsible for taking technical content provided from various sources such as Medical Science, Marketing, Clinical, Sales, and R&D and applying educationally sound design techniques to create effective education experiences aligned with EdTech Content Standards and Strategies.
- Facilitates initial product training and Train the Trainer (TTT) activities for regional Commercial Education assets for all content including NPI and J&J MedTech Curriculum.
- Follows relevant copy review processes and coordinates expiration status to keep all content current.
- Creates performance indicators to measure effectiveness of training content/experience.
- Responsible for adhering to project level budget.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree or commensurate experience.
- 3 years of Medical Device or related field experience.
- 3 years in cardiac electrophysiology, including 3D mapping skills and/or intracardiac ultrasound.
- 3 years in learning and development in lieu of electrophysiology experience.
- Proven ability to understand business strategy and translate into education solutions that support the company’s business goals.
- Proven leadership ability to effectively engage and collaborate with a team of professionals, including globally distributed personnel.
- Experience working with cross-functional teams across a matrixed organization.
- Demonstrated ability to handle a broad list of assets across multiple functions.
- Proven ability to effectively communicate strategy and standards across multiple recipients, including US and OUS associates.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience within regional Commercial Education focused on deployment of training.
- Experience working in OUS marketplaces or with OUS teams.
- Experience collaborating with medical technology sales or marketing.
- Proven track record in managing/vendor resources.
- Formal training and certification in Instructional Design or a portfolio of curriculum design.
- Strong knowledge of Learning Management systems management, strategic planning, needs assessment, adult learning, and cost/benefit analysis.

The anticipated base pay range for this position is: $100,000 to $172,500
