Job description
Responsibilities
  • Manage the Financial Budgeting and Forecasting process, working closely with Management and Project PMs to develop accurate projections and monitor performance against targets for all projects.
  • Prepare Mega Project Financial Statements and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Conduct post-costing analysis to determine cost variances and identify product cost control factors.
  • Monitor, supervise, and guide team members for the timely preparation of Financial Statements, bank reconciliations, and other finance & accounts activities.
  • Oversee LC opening and execution along with all related tasks (TT, shipment, and documentation).
  • Verify and process Bill of Lading (BL), Commercial Invoice, Incentive, Packing List, Insurance Certificate, Bill of Exchange, and Certificate of Origin.
  • Ensure accurate costing and budgeting for handicraft factory products and construction company projects.
  • Handle VAT, Tax, and regulatory compliance for both local and international operations.
  • Develop proposals for funded and non-funded liabilities, generate project profiles with projected financial reports.
  • Ensure inter-company reconciliation and proper transaction input into the accounting system.
  • Develop and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards.
  • Ensure timely and accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting.
  • Analyze financial data to support strategic decision-making and business planning.
  • Provide financial analysis and recommendations to management, focusing on cost reduction, revenue enhancement, and process improvement.
  • Lead and develop the accounting team by providing guidance, coaching, and performance feedback to foster professional growth.
  • Manage all construction company accounting activities, ensuring proper project-wise costing, vendor payments, and statutory compliance.
  • Perform any other task assigned by Management.
