Job summary

A well-established family-run business in the leisure sector is seeking a Finance Manager to oversee their finance team and manage day-to-day operations. You will be responsible for tasks such as monthly reporting, budgeting, and supporting finance change projects. Ideal candidates are fully qualified (CIMA, ACCA) with excellent Excel and ERP skills, ready to make an impact in a growing business.

Qualifications

  • Fully qualified Accountant (CIMA, ACCA), or QBE candidates considered.
  • Excellent Excel skills, including Lookups and Modelling.
  • Good understanding of ERP systems.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the finance team and oversee daily operations of the finance function.
  • Coordinate month-end close ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Production of monthly profit and loss accounts for care homes.
  • Develop management reporting, budgeting, and forecasting.
  • Support growth management projects with analysis and reporting.

Job description

A well established, family run business, operating in the leisure sector are currently recruiting for a Finance Manager to join their growing team.

This part or fully qualified (CIMA, ACCA) role reports to the Finance Director and has responsibility for the day to day management of the finance team. Responsibilities include management reporting, month end requirements, revenue processing, working capital control and cost management analysis. The role will also support finance change projects relating to business growth.

Duties:

  • Management of the finance team and overseeing the day to day running of the finance function.
  • Coordinate and manage the month end close ensuring accurate and timely results.
  • Monthly processing of the sales income invoices and related activities.
  • Production of the monthly profit and loss accounts for the care homes.
  • Balance sheet analysis and working capital control.
  • Development of the management reporting, budgeting and forecasting including bank covenant reporting.
  • Cost management reporting and liasing with stakeholders in respect of cost control.
  • Supporting growth management projects by providing analysis and reporting.
  • Provide back up for day to day finance requirements as required.

You will be a fully qualified Accountant CIMA, ACCA although QBE candidates will be considered. It is essential that you have excellent Excel skills (Lookups, Modelling) as well as good understanding of ERP systems.
