ABR Employment Services is recruiting for a 1st Shift Maintenance Technician for a client company in Ripon, WI.

Role Summary

Join a stable and growing food manufacturing company as a Maintenance Technician on 1st shift. In this role, you’ll handle preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on production and facility equipment. Your work will help ensure smooth operations, food safety, and equipment reliability. We’re looking for someone mechanically inclined with experience in a manufacturing setting (food industry a plus), who can diagnose and repair issues involving mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair on production machinery, packaging equipment, and facility systems.
  • Diagnose mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic issues.
  • Maintain documentation of all maintenance activities and equipment logs.
  • Ensure compliance with food safety, GMP, and OSHA standards.
  • Collaborate with production and quality teams to minimize downtime and maintain product integrity.
Qualifications
  • 3+ years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing or industrial setting (food manufacturing).
  • Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to troubleshoot and repair conveyors, pumps, motors, and gearboxes.
  • Basic understanding of electrical systems and controls (PLC experience a plus).
  • Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and manuals.
  • Flexibility to work overtime or weekends as needed.
