About The Role

HC-One are looking for a Maintenance Operative with solid experience in maintenance, building, DIY, cleaning and housekeeping. You’ll also need technical knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems, as well as ideally some IT skills. And, whenever you communicate with a resident or co‑worker, you’ll be truly considerate and kind.

As a Maintenance Operative you will make sure our Residents live in a place that is proactively inspected and brilliantly maintained at all times. You’ll carry out audits, keep records up to date, and perform tasks such as replacing taps or mixer valves, fitting new extractor fans, repairing timber on bedroom windows, or putting up new wallpaper in the dining room – all with a sense of kindness above everything else.

Safeguarding

Safeguarding is everyone’s responsibility. You must recognise signs that may indicate abuse, harm or neglect, know what to do if concerns arise, attend safeguarding training appropriate to your role, and seek appropriate advice and report concerns, including escalation if action is not taken.
