Job summary

A manufacturing company in the UK is seeking a Maintenance Engineer to join their site-based team. The role involves maintaining and repairing automated machinery to ensure minimal production downtime. The ideal candidate should have experience in a maintenance-focused role, preferably with a time-served apprenticeship. Electrical knowledge is a plus, but training will be provided. Pay: Up to £52,000 + Overtime available - earnings of £57000 and upwards achievable

Shift pattern: 4 On, 4 Off (6-6 - Days & Nights)

Job Title: Maintenance Engineer

Overview

Working in modern, purpose built (clean and warm) manufacturing facilities we now require a site-based Maintenance Engineer to join the team. Both mechanical and electrical engineers considered.

Key responsibilities of the Maintenance Engineer role
  • To maintain service and repair all automated plant machinery to minimise production down time.
  • Provide technical support on all projects, installations and breakdowns.
  • PPM's
The ideal candidate / Maintenance Engineer may have some of the following
  • Time served apprentice trained or above
  • Previous experience working in a maintenance focused role within a manufacturing/production environment or similar
  • Electrical understanding—changing like for like parts and basic fault finding would be beneficial if you do not have electrical certifications (Electrical training can be given— the company provide electrical courses offsite)

Commutable from: Mountsorrel, Barrow upon Soar, Loughborough, Rothley, Leicester and surrounding areas.
