A leading firm in maintenance engineering based outside of York is looking for an experienced Maintenance Engineer. You will provide support in servicing machinery and ensure smooth operations with planned maintenance. Job description

A well-established leading company based outside of York is looking for an experienced, highly motivated multi-skilled maintenance engineer to join the business. Preferably with experience from a manufacturing or distribution sector background. This is a varied role, over a large site with a dynamic, friendly environment.

Responsibilities

• Deliver effective support in checking, repairing and servicing machinery, equipment, systems and infrastructures.
• Ensure that industrial machinery and equipment runs smoothly and reliably, including planning and undertaking scheduled maintenance.
• Ensure full plant operation with reactive and planned preventive maintenance (PPM) and strong Health and Safety awareness.
• Assist with calibrating fixed and portable temperature monitoring equipment.
• To ensure that machinery and equipment run smoothly and reliably.
