Maintenance Engineer

Overview

What You'll Do
  • Carrying out planned and reactive maintenance.
  • Overseeing contractors and service engineers.
  • Performing routine tests and supporting validation processes.
  • Managing spare parts and advising on replenishment.
  • Participating in the on-call rota and occasional travel to other sites.
What We're Looking For
  • Apprentice-trained engineer (or equivalent).
  • Minimum 2 years' engineering experience in facilities or manufacturing.
  • Mechanical or electrical qualification/training.
  • Full UK driving licence.
  • Full right to work in the UK.
Useful Backgrounds
  • Experience with the following equipment, standards, or environments would be an advantage:
  • Boilers and steam systems
  • Autoclaves and sterilisation units
  • Washer-disinfectors
  • Medical device or pharmaceutical facilities
  • CfPP and HTM 01-01 guidelines
  • Other regulated environments requiring strict compliance and validation
