Job description

Overview

We are seeking a 12 month fixed term Consultant Radiologist with a Specialist interest in Breast Radiology to work within a cohesive team at Wirral University Teaching Hospital.

Candidates should be able to handle risk and ambiguity comfortably, and will be expected to bring intellect and insight to leading on complex services. The post requires an exceptional communicator who will be politically astute and able to develop strong relationships internally and with a wide range of external stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Daily roles and responsibilities include all aspects of screening and symptomatic breast imaging work including Mammography, Ultrasound and MRI.

• Lead on complex services, contribute to risk management and use insight to improve services.
• Develop strong relationships with internal teams and external stakeholders.
