Briefed Recruitment has partnered with a leading organisation in the utilities sector who are seeking a Legal Counsel to join on a permanent basis.

You'll be joining a lean, highly collaborative legal team and acting as a trusted advisor to the wider business on a range of legal matters, including:

  • Advising on regulatory matters, including interpretation of market codes and compliance frameworks
  • Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating a variety of commercial contracts
  • Providing day-to-day legal guidance on ad-hoc matters such as data protection, competition law, and employment
  • Supporting on corporate governance and risk management

About you:

  • UK-qualified solicitor, ideally with 2-3 years' PQE
  • Exposure to regulatory and/or utilities sectors would be beneficial but not essential
  • Comfortable working across a broad range of legal issues in a collaborative, stakeholder-facing role
