A recruitment agency seeks a Lecturer in Agriculture to deliver hands-on practical sessions and theory across various modules. This role in Preston involves teaching livestock husbandry, crop production, and machinery operation to learners, while providing support to apprentices. Rate: £35 to £45 per hour (depending on qualifications and experience)

Agricultural professionals with experience in livestock, dairy, machinery, or general farm operations are encouraged to apply. The role involves delivering hands‑on practical sessions and theory across a range of Agriculture modules, helping learners build the skills needed in modern farming.
Teaching experience is not required. Applications are welcomed from farmers, relief milkers, tractor drivers, livestock handlers, calf rearers, machinery operators, and those with wider farm duties such as lambing, estate skills, or farm administration who are skilled practically and looking to pass on their knowledge.
Training in teaching is available for those moving into education for the first time.
