Lead Site Reliability Engineer

Location: Remote working *1 day in every 2 weeks at our Stoke-On-Trent office (5 mins from station).

Salary: £Competitive + company benefits (Full time/permanent role)

About the role

This hands-on role involves working closely with the Head of Engineering and cross-functional teams to develop real-world solutions and positive user experiences. You will review, lead, and drive our strategy for the maturity, security, performance, and scalability of our software and services across cloud infrastructure. You will have significant autonomy to shape the team’s future using your extensive skills in:

  • Site Reliability Engineering/DevOps/Infrastructure/Platform management
  • Development and deployment of APIs using containerized environments such as Kubernetes
  • Implementing/enhancing Infrastructure as Code, specifically Terraform
  • Collaborating with stakeholders in an agile environment
  • Leading, coaching, and mentoring team members
  • AWS services, especially IAM, S3, EKS, Networking
  • CloudFormation/CDK
  • Experience with serverless computing
