Overview

We’re looking for a Lead SHEQ (Safety, Health, Environment, Quality) & Wellbeing to join our team and drive the next stage of our growth.

Reporting to the Managing Director, you’ll lead the development and delivery of our SHEQ and Wellbeing strategy across all areas of the business — from warehousing and logistics to head office operations. This is a key leadership role where you’ll ensure compliance, champion a proactive safety culture, and enhance employee wellbeing in line with our company values of Teamwork, Care, Customer Centricity, Respect, and Integrity.

Responsibilities
  • Lead our health, safety, environmental, quality, and wellbeing strategy.
  • Drive compliance with UK legislation and ISO standards (9001, 14001, 45001).
  • Promote a culture of wellbeing and resilience across all teams.
  • Coach managers and depot leads to embed “safety-first” and “wellbeing-aware” behaviours.
  • Provide clear KPIs, reporting, and insight to the Board.
  • Support FSC certification
What We’re Looking For
  • Proven SHEQ leadership experience, ideally in logistics/warehousing.
  • NEBOSH Diploma (or equivalent).
  • Strong knowledge of UK H&S, environmental, and quality legislation.
  • Track record of delivering cultural change and wellbeing initiatives.
  • Strong communication and influencing skills.
