Job summary

A leading healthcare provider in Warrington is seeking a committed Principal Psychologist. In this permanent full-time role, you will lead the psychology team, manage complex mental health cases, and ensure effective treatment systems are in place. Candidates must be registered with the HCPC and have relevant experience. Qualifications

  • Must be qualified as a Psychologist registered with the HCPC.
  • Experience working in mental health conditions.
  • Ability to manage complex factors concerning historical and developmental processes.

Responsibilities

  • Make evaluations and decisions about treatment options.
  • Lead the Psychology team at the service.
  • Ensure systems are in place to manage new referrals and admissions.
  • Support and supervise other departmental members.
  • Develop systems for the effective running of the Psychology service.

Skills

Experience of working as a principal psychologist
Experience in mental health and complex presentations
Able to show a can-do attitude

Education

Qualified Psychologist registered with the HCPC
