Our client, a leader in advanced marine technology, is seeking an experienced Lead Electrical Engineer to drive the design and integration of cutting-edge electrical systems. This hands-on leadership role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Lead the design and delivery of electrical systems: power distribution, motor control, battery management, and charging.
  2. Ensure timely, on-budget delivery while maintaining high quality and compliance.
  3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate systems into overall craft design.
  4. Own system performance and drive continuous improvement through testing and analysis.
  5. Stay current with new technologies and implement innovative solutions.
  6. Support prototype builds and oversee testing and validation.
  7. Mentor junior engineers and uphold best practices across the team.

Requirements

  • Degree in Electrical, Electronics, or Mechatronics Engineering (or equivalent experience).
  • Background in marine, automotive, or aerospace electrical systems.
  • Skilled in CAD tools (AutoCAD, EPLAN, etc.).
  • Strong knowledge of DC systems, CAN Bus, power electronics, PLCs, batteries, and motor control.
  • Familiar with industry standards and regulatory compliance.
  • Proven project delivery and problem-solving skills.
  • Proactive, self-motivated, and a strong communicator.
