About the Role

You will be responsible for performing high quality contingent workforce compliance research, implementation and project-based tasks for global jurisdictions, excluding North America. Your activities will be delivered to both internal and external stakeholders.

What You Will Do
  • Perform and document periodic, client focused legislative horizon scanning.
  • Maintain, and act upon, a global legislation change calendar.
  • Ensure the department’s research catalogues/library remain relevant and accurate.
  • Provide subject matter expertise (SME) support to client facing teams when required (QBR’s, RFP’s, etc).
  • Triage and respond to Operational Compliance internal enquiries in a way that makes the user feel supported and educated.
  • Operate and update compliance frameworks and related policies and procedures as assigned.
  • Train internal teams on new, or amended, compliance frameworks.
  • Be the main Operational Compliance point of contact/sponsor for designated programs, including attendance on regular update calls (e.g. EU Pay Transparency Directive).
  • Be the voice of Operational Compliance on newsletters and editorials.
  • Provide content for, and partake in, relevant Client and/or Supplier events.
  • Work closely with Director, Operational Compliance to ensure plans/targets are met as per corporate roadmap.
  • Work proactively with business contacts and management to identify and implement practical and efficient solutions.
What You Will Need
  • 5-7 years’ experience of non-permanent staffing supply compliance and/or legal research.
  • Ability to review complex legislation and regulations, summarising into business-friendly advice that a non-technically minded audience can digest.
  • Experience in taking ownership of and managing research processes from design to implementation to BAU stage.
  • Knowledge of relevant global legislation (e.g. GDPR, employment law, labour leasing).
  • Experience & understanding of the temporary labour market and global MSP delivery.
  • IT literate (particularly Microsoft Office: Excel; PowerPoint).
  • Strong organisational, prioritisation skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Articulate with the ability to manage stakeholder expectations and relationships.
