Responsibilities
- Provide expert clinical leadership across urgent care, working autonomously at an advanced level.
- Lead, support, and develop our team of Advanced Clinical/Nurse Practitioners.
- Drive service innovation and deliver seamless care in partnership with ED and wider system colleagues.
- Oversee workforce planning, rota management, and team development.
- Deliver training, mentorship, and clinical supervision to support professional growth.
- Ensure the highest standards of governance, quality, and patient safety.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 4 years post-registration experience, working at a senior level within A&E or Walk-in Centre/Extended Hub/General Practice.
- Registered First Level Nurse (Adult)
- MSc in Advanced Clinical Practice
- Current NMC Registration
- Teaching and Assessing/Mentoring Qualification
- Minor Illness training
- Minor Injury training
- Master's Degree in healthcare (equivalent experience, or working towards one)
- Independent Prescribing qualification
- Previous experience in face-to-face triage, assessment and treatment
