A busy franchised LCV/HGV dealership in Dunstable is seeking an experienced Vehicle Technician/Mechanic. You will be responsible for servicing and repairs to manufacturer standards, working in a modern workshop. A competitive pay structure with an OTE of £45,000 and various benefits is offered.

• Minimum of NVQ Level 2/3 in Light Vehicle Maintenance.
• 1+ year post-apprenticeship experience.
• Full UK Driving Licence.

Responsibilities

• Carry out servicing & repairs to manufacturer standards.
• Conduct in-depth electrical & mechanical diagnostics.
• Perform cambelt, clutch, gearbox & engine repairs/replacements.

·Rate per hour £18.50 plus Bonus
·OTE - £45,000 – with Bonus

·2 shifts available: 6am till 2.30pm or 2.30pm till 10.30pm
·Chance to mover over to Trucks/LCV work

Our client, a busy Franchised LCV/HGV Dealership in Dunstable have the requirement for experienced Vehicle Technician/Mechanic to join their established workshop team

Responsibilities

As a Vehicle Technicians responsibility will include:
Ensure Servicing & Repairs are carried out to Manufacturer Standards
Cambelt, Clutch, Gearbox & Engine Repairs/Replacements (depending on skill level)
In depth Electrical & Mechanical Diagnostics (depending on skill level)
Warranty Repairs

Experience, Skills & Qualifications

Essential Requirements:
Minimum of a NVQ Level 2/3 in Light Vehicle Maintenance or equivalent
1+ year Post Apprenticeship experience
Full UK Driving Licence

Desirable Requirements:
LCV/Truck or Car/Vehicle Experience
Manufacturer or IMI Accreditations / Qualifications
Franchised Dealer Experience useful
MOT Licence (Class 4 & 7) If not you will be helped to qualify
