Law Lecturer – Conveyancing; Business and Commercial Law; Employment Law and Practice: Full Time (Part Time available) and Remote
Salary: £43,500

The role
  • Deliver group teaching sessions / Masterclasses at all levels via webinars, checking and supporting learning and the practical application of workplace skills
  • Providing study support and advising students on educational matters relating to the successful completion of their programme
  • Monitoring student engagement and taking responsibility for their progress
  • Identify additional learning support needs in liaison with the Learning Support Manager, implementing any necessary adjustments and monitoring learner attendance and engagement
  • Providing academic support by conference call, email or online forum
  • Delivering revision sessions by webinar
  • Producing quality recorded materials, student study materials, handbooks and guides
  • Providing feedback on the student experience and contributing to their Law School quality improvement plan
  • Taking part in ongoing staff development and knowledge sharing and keep abreast of new developments in relevant subject specialisms
  • Liaising with the Business Development Team to identify potential progression/recruitment opportunities where appropriate
  • Promote our ED&I agenda
  • Facilitate a safeguarding and wellbeing culture throughout interactions with both staff and learners

The ideal candidate will be a qualified lawyer with credible practice experience and ideally will have prior teaching / training or assessment experience:
