Job description

Overview

Main Purpose of the Role: To cut parts to drawings as requested by the production design and specification.

Responsibilities

• Under the direction of the Production Supervisor produce parts using a Laser/ Punch machine
• Use verniers and other measuring instruments to evaluate the results and make necessary adjustments
• Check and maintain machinery
• Able to read and interpret drawings and instructions
• Able to use calipers and other measuring tools
• Housekeeping within immediate working area

Key Skills Required

• Punch machine experience required
• Ability to read and understand technical drawings
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure.
• Have a can-do, problem-solving attitude and ability to work fast paced.
• Accuracy and attention to details.
• Good communication skills.

Job Type: Full-time

Schedule:

• Monday-Thursday 8am-5pm
• Friday 8am-1pm
• Overtime available
