Job description

Our client is looking for a consultative Sales and Project Manager with a strong interest in design and landscaping.

This role offers full ownership of projects from initial client consultation through to on‑site delivery and final handover, making it ideal for a commercially minded professional who enjoys seeing their designs and sales turn into high‑quality finished landscapes.

You would get to work within an experienced Design Team, providing potential clients with reliable and workable solutions for their garden projects.

Responsibilities
  • Converting warm leads into sales with a consultative and solution‑based approach
  • Understanding the client’s requirements and liaising with the design team to then present ideas through drawings and aided design
  • Project‑manage on site, providing clear instruction and leadership for the onsite team
  • Act as the main point of contact for clients throughout the project lifecycle
  • Produce accurate project costings, quotations and manage margins
Experience and Skills
  • Experience in sales and Project Management is essential
  • Horticulture knowledge and/or a qualification is essential
  • Experience in landscaping or garden design is desirable, but a keen interest is essential
  • Computer literate with experience using CAD, KeySCAPE or Sketchup (ideally)
  • Must be based locally to Southampton
