Contract Lab Technician — Location: Carlisle • Salary: £12.82 - £15.38 per hour • Contract length: 6 Months

CY Partners are working with a chemicals company to recruit a Contract Lab Technician. This role offers an excellent opportunity to apply analytical chemistry expertise within a dynamic industry environment. The successful candidate will be integral to quality control operations, ensuring product compliance and maintaining standards. This is a contract role based near Carlisle, with a friendly and collaborative team that values science and precision.

Responsibilities
  • Perform routine and non-routine analytical tests on chemical products.
  • Ensure laboratory testing adheres to internal quality standards and relevant regulatory frameworks.
  • Document results accurately and prepare comprehensive reports for review and compliance purposes.
  • Maintain laboratory equipment, ensuring all instruments are calibrated and functioning correctly.
