• Wash dishes ensuring that they are adequately sanitised.
• Sweep and mop kitchen floors.
• Clean out freezers.
• Remove rubbish and place in appropriate bins.
• Food preparation including chopping vegetables and preparing sauces.
• Ensure that cooking equipment is maintained to an adequate standard.
• Carry out any other reasonable duties.

Responsibilities

• Maintain clean environment and equipment.
• Wash dishes ensuring that they are adequately sanitised by maintaining required water temperature and chemical levels. Put dishes away after washing.
• Sweep and mop kitchen floors.
• Clean out freezers.
• Remove rubbish and place in appropriate bins.
• Food preparation; chopping vegetables, washing fruit, defrosting meat, preparing sauces and marinades etc.
• Ensure that cooking equipment and appliances are used appropriately and maintained to an adequate standard.
• Carry out any other duties which may be reasonably required within the post.

Skills and Qualifications
