Kitchen Assistant

NEW

We are searching for a new Kitchen Assistant to join our team. You will be working closely with the Home Manager and Kitchen Team to support the chefs in producing high-quality, well-balanced meals for our residents.

In this role you will be :
  • Supporting production in all areas of the kitchen
  • Adhering to the HACCP procedure according to Athena’s Food Safety Management Documentation
  • Maintaining the kitchen hygiene and support with opening / closing down procedures
  • Producing sandwiches, cakes and buffet items with the guidance of the duty chef
  • Supporting chefs to ensure minimum wastage
  • Actively participating in discussions, with the kitchen team, to improve the service
  • Understanding the function of due diligence paperwork and record food, freezer & fridge temperatures

Experience
