Overview

VANRATH are assisting with the recruitment of a Junior Transport Manager for a major company that specialises in Supply Chain.

This is a Full-time position - Monday - Friday position.

Permanent position - Position of work is Randalstown

Salary: Negotiable + Fantastic Benefits package & Growth Opportunities

Responsibilities
  • Managing driver hours, Working Time Directive compliance, and addressing behavioural issues.
  • Overseeing CPC training and maintaining driver records.
  • Reporting and documenting incidents and accidents.
  • Recording driver health and safety training.
  • Coordinating with insurers to ensure full coverage and proper incident reporting.
  • Ensuring accurate waste management documentation.
  • Inspecting, maintaining, and managing lease vehicles.
  • Handling purchase, sale, and disposal of vehicles and trailers.
  • Using digital systems for fleet tracking and fuel card management.
  • Conducting driver onboarding and licence checks.
  • Maintaining the company\'s Operator\'s Licence.
  • Keeping waste collection permits valid and driver docket books accurate.
