NexGen Consultancy LTD are currently recruiting for a Junior Buyer/Office Administrator to join a reputable sub contract, precision engineering company on a full time, permanent basis.

Our client is a subcontract milling company specialising in precision manufacturing. We're looking for a Junior Buyer/Office Administrator to join their team.

The Role:

This is an excellent opportunity to develop your career in purchasing. You'll split your time between junior purchasing duties and office administration, with a clear development path toward becoming a Buyer.

Key Responsibilities:
Purchasing (60%)
  • Raise purchase orders for tooling, consumables and general supplies
  • Obtain quotes and maintain supplier records
  • Monitor delivery schedules and chase outstanding orders
  • Liaise with suppliers on orders, quality, and delivery matters
  • Support inventory management and stock monitoring
  • Process supplier invoices
Office Administration (40%)
  • Provide general administrative support to the team
  • Handle phone calls, emails, and correspondence
  • Maintain filing systems and databases
  • Manage office supplies and deliveries
What We're Looking For:
Essential:
