Support the Garment Merchandising team in maintaining strong relationships with key garment suppliers and shareholders
Assist senior merchandisers with garment supplier discussions, including cost prices, lead times, and payment terms
Help prepare and maintain stock and sales performance reports, learning how to identify trends and opportunities to drive sales
Work closely with the team to monitor pricing across garment categories, helping to ensure we stay competitive while protecting profitability
Develop an understanding of how our garment ranges perform by researching competitors and learning about the wider retail market
Collaborate with departments across the business to support sales, profit and efficient stock management
Contribute to product development by gathering feedback, checking reviews, and assisting with quality or fit improvement tasks
Provide day-to-day administrative and analytical support to the Garment Merchandising team
Analyse sales trends, inventory levels, and production schedules to create purchase orders and maintain inventory levels within a specific budget
Ensure continuous product availability by proactively forecasting demand and managing inventory levels to prevent out-of-stock occurrences
What You’ll Bring
Ideally 6–12 months’ experience in a merchandising, garment buying, or purchasing role (internships or placements also considered).
Interest in the garment production process and building supplier relationships – any experience with overseas garment suppliers (East Asia region) is a bonus.
Enthusiastic, proactive and keen to develop within a fast-paced fashion or sportswear environment.
Proficient in the use of Excel to be able to maintain ordering spreadsheets and create reports of stock and sales trends, as well as being confident on other Microsoft programs
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy when handling product or sales information.
Willingness to learn about garment costing, negotiation and commercial decision-making.
Able to manage your time effectively, prioritise workload, and stay calm when things get busy.
Good communication and teamwork skills, with a positive and collaborative attitude.
Highly organised, motivated and eager to support the wider garment merchandising function.
Some familiarity or interest in learning about WSSI tools and category planning.
