Japanese speaking Business Systems Consultant – Ref: HY46878
A Japanese consulting firm is looking for a Business Systems Consultant to work in their London office. The role is full-time, permanent with hybrid work arrangements. Travel may be required for project assignments. LOCATION: London. SALARY: negotiable/negotiable depending on experience. VISA SUPPORT: Yes. BENEFITS: Private Medical Insurance.
Responsibilities
- Facilitate requirements gathering by conducting in-depth interviews and workshops with clients to identify business challenges and define system requirements.
- Implement core ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Microsoft Dynamics 365) and peripheral technologies (e.g., RPA, Power BI).
- Oversee project management tasks, including progress tracking, issue resolution, and quality assurance (PMO functions).
- Develop proposal documents and cost estimates, and contribute to solution design and pre-sales activities.
- Coordinate and manage communication with vendors and development partners to ensure alignment and delivery quality.
- Participate in global projects, including preparation of English-language documentation and participation in cross-border meetings.
- Additional duties as required to support the success of the team and clients.
Ideal Candidate
- Business operations experience in consulting project roles as IT advisory.
- Working knowledge and experience in IT and PMO or related domain areas.
- Implementation or development of enterprise systems such as SAP, Dynamics 365, or business systems like RPA and BI tools.
- Experience in PMO capacity within IT projects, including project governance, issue management, and stakeholder coordination.
- Solution proposal development, including responding to RFPs, preparing proposals, and contributing to conceptual design.
- Business process transformation and standardisation using ERP and business systems.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, proactive mindset, and ability to manage multiple stakeholders and complex project dynamics.
- Experience working in a consulting firm or system integrator (SIer) would be advantageous.
- Strong pre-sales skills, with experience in collaborating with sales teams to develop client proposals and secure new business (preferred).
- Business-level fluency in both English and Japanese.
