Job summary

A leading provider of business services in Ashton-under-Lyne is seeking an experienced IT Business Analyst & Hardware Technician. The role involves providing Tier 1 IT support, managing the Service Desk, and ensuring IT requests are resolved within SLA. Candidates should have knowledge of MS applications and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team. This is a full-time office-based position offering a salary of £25,000.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the Service Desk telephone line during business hours.
  • Be the first response for IT-related requests.
  • Solve IT requests that come into the Service Desk.
  • Delegate requests to 2nd line support when necessary.
  • Liaise with external suppliers for service requests.
  • Ensure requests are solved within SLA.
  • Manage allocation and movement of IT software and licenses.

Skills

Knowledge of MS applications (O365 experience bonus)
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Knowledge of business processes in an IT department
Ability to install and configure applications
