A fast-growing IT company is seeking an IT Apprentice to join their Service Desk Team in Sittingbourne, UK. You will receive hands-on training, resolving IT issues under the guidance of experienced staff. As an IT Apprentice you will be joining our Service Desk Team, who are responsible for answering calls and emails from our clients

You’ll sit with experienced members of the team who will give you tasks to do and teach you about our clients systems, and how to resolve their IT problems.

During your apprenticeship you will be answering the phone and resolving issues yourself. You will be using the IT knowledge that you will gain at college, on the job, and through our internal training programme.

You’ll also visit London sites, helping with office moves and projects as they come up. Our goal is to give you the training you need to earn a place on our service desk team.

You’ll be trained by our internal trainer in a block learning format, and within 12 months, gain a Level 3 qualification as an Information Communications Technician.

While in the role you will gain exposure to:

  • Active Directory
  • Microsoft Exchange & 365
  • Microsoft Servers
  • Cloud Systems
  • Virtualisation (VMware, vSphere, HyperV)
  • Office Operation Systems

You will learn how to configure & maintain:

It is advantageous to have a GCSE or an A Level in IT, but not essential. What’s most important is your enthusiasm and commitment to learn.
