Overview

IT Application Support Technician – Shift-Based | Site-Based | Leeds. We are recruiting an IT Application Support Technician for our client, a global leader in automation and logistics. This is a hands-on, on-site role supporting advanced warehouse IT systems in a dynamic distribution environment.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and support Warehouse Management & Material Flow Systems
• Perform system monitoring, testing, and documentation
• Collaborate with engineering teams and site staff to ensure uptime
• Support software changes, updates, and releases
• Work flexible shifts, including occasional weekends and evenings

What You’ll Need

• BSc/HND/HNC in Computer Science or related field
• Strong SQL and Linux skills
• Experience of supporting automated materials handling systems
• Excellent problem-solving and communication abilities
• Java/PLC experience is a plus
• Willingness to travel occasionally and adapt to shift patterns
